  1. Hello,
I’m searching for good WINTER hiking shoes for WOMEN, for the Franch Alps, Mountains of Norway, with gtx, waterproof, and have a very good traction on ice and snow. That is very important, because I now have Lowa renegade GTX, perfect for hiking but NOT on slippery surfaces.
Please do give me a good advice.
Thank you very much for helping me.

    Best regards,
    Marjolein Cloosterman

    • Based on my experience on ice and snow, continental outsole on my adidas can outperform the standard vibram on my salewa when it comes to grip/traction,the megagrip on older Arc’teryx also performed nicely on snow/ice

I have heard about pomoca based salewa but I haven’t had any experience with any of them
