10. Festive events at Tampa’s Busch Gardens Christmas Town

Busch Gardens Tampa goes all in for Christmas Town. The event runs from mid-November through the beginning of January, so you’ve got plenty of chances to visit.
Millions of twinkling lights stretch across almost 70 miles inside the park. It’s amazing walking through that much sparkle.
You’ll bump into festive characters, yes, Rudolph is there, and catch holiday shows scattered throughout the park. There’s something about seeing your favorite childhood characters in person that just hits different.
Special holiday snacks and treats are everywhere. If you’re into seasonal eats, this is your moment.

Christmas on Las Olas turns Fort Lauderdale’s famous boulevard into a glowing, bustling holiday street party. It’s a one-night-only thing, usually in late November – early December.
Over 60 vendors line the street, offering unique gifts and sweet holiday treats. Live performances from more than 30 local schools and community groups keep the energy up all night.
The whole boulevard gets decked out with lights and decorations. Palm trees wrapped in twinkling lights? Only in Florida.
Kids can try sledding on Snow Mountain or hit the free ice skating rink. It’s a little winter magic, even if you’re in shorts.

8. Winterfest Boat Parade in Fort Lauderdale

The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade brings a wild burst of holiday spirit to Fort Lauderdale’s waterways every December. Boats of every size get decked out in lights and cruise the 12-mile route.
More than 100 boats participate, from tiny runabouts to huge yachts. The parade weaves through the New River and Intracoastal Waterway, finishing up in Pompano Beach.
Over a million people show up to watch, a really massive crowd.
You’ll see boats transformed with elaborate themes and thousands of lights, floating along like a mobile festival. The southeast corner of Las Olas Boulevard and the Intracoastal is the official viewing area, with food vendors and live music.

7. Naples Botanical Garden’s holiday light and music festival
The Naples Botanical Garden morphs into a glowing wonderland for its Johnsonville Night Lights event. Thousands of lights bring the tropical gardens to life from late November through early January.
Pathways go through native Florida plants, all lit up in festive colors. Live music happens every night on the performance lawn. Christmas lights wrap the trees, making for a pretty stunning backdrop.

6. Christmas-themed events at Universal Studios Orlando

Universal Studios Orlando goes all out for the holidays. The festivities run from late November through the end of December, and there’s a ton packed in.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter gets a Christmas makeover, with themed decorations and entertainment. It’s like stepping into a holiday postcard. If wizards sent postcards, anyway.
Grinchmas is a big draw, too. You can meet the Grinch (he’s just as grumpy as you’d hope) and wander through Whoville.
The Universal Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s is a highlight. Characters from Despicable Me, Shrek, and Madagascar show up in full holiday mode.
Both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure join the celebration. Decorations are everywhere, and it feels like the whole place is full of holiday energy.
Most of the Christmas events are included with your regular park ticket, which is a nice touch. CityWalk gets into the spirit, too, with festive treats and decorations as you walk between the parks.
The resort hotels aren’t left out. They each have their own decorations and holiday activities for guests. It’s a lot to enjoy, but that’s kind of the point.

5. Mount Dora Christmas Village: a charming small-town holiday atmosphere
Mount Dora goes all-in on the Christmas village vibe. The town wraps its historic downtown in over 2 million lights every December.
The annual Christmas Walk, held on the first Friday of December, is a street party with music, shopping, and local shops open late.
Evening festivities shut down the streets to traffic, so you can stroll and see the lights. The old-school New England architecture is perfect for holiday photos.
The Christmas parade is a classic small-town celebration, and it’s hard not to smile.

4. Christmas Village and 100-Foot Christmas Tree in Delray Beach
Delray Beach’s 100-foot Christmas tree is a showstopper. It towers over Old School Square, covered in hundreds of thousands of lights.
The Holiday Village around the tree is packed with activities: ice skating, a carousel, and mini-golf for families. The tree lighting event kicks off the whole season and always draws a big crowd.
Over 60 vendors set up along Atlantic Avenue and downtown, selling holiday goods. The shopping area stretches from Old School Square to Pineapple Grove.

1. The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World
